The Significance of Steve Martin

Due to the rarity of reoccurring characters (Shobijin, Miki Saegusa) or those that are so important their actions span across different series (Daisuke Serizawa), I propose keeping Steve Martin in the Toho Tokusatsu template. Whether or not one actually prefers the original Gojira versus Godzilla, King of the Monsters!, it is undeniable that the entire world except Japan was introduced to Godzilla for the first time through Raymond Burr's character. That alone would make him a significant player. However, Steve Martin actually appears again in Godzilla 1985 making him one of the few Godzilla actors to appear in multiple movies. Lastly, this reoccurring character has the distinction of being the first to appear in more than one series (Showa & Heisei).

Since Serizawa, the Shobijin, and Saegusa all have their own page, I also propose some create a Steve Martin (Godzilla) page since this unique character has his own back story. Until then, his link should probably go straight to Raymond Burr's page. --Blackbox77 04:23, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rename it

I think we rename the template has Monsters in the Godzilla series, because they're more monsters then what we have. Who agrees with me?--4444hhhh (talk) 00:06, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
