Remove remaining closed stations
[edit]It doesn't seem like the remaining closed stations will be reopening in the future, would it just make sense to remove them altogether? OrdinaryScarlett (talk) 08:28, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- @OrdinaryScarlett: I want to say yes, but I had trouble finding any definitive information about any of the three stations. I almost feel like if I remove them, the MBTA will announce their reopening in the near future. I want to do a bit more research first and then take action based on that. - I am almost convinced that Plimptonville is closed, but up-to-date information on Plymouth and especially Mishawum stations has been frustratingly scarce, and a trip to Boston for more information is not feasible for me at this time. As much as I hate to say it, I believe the best choice is to do nothing for now. Hotdog with ketchup (talk) 15:47, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- The five stations (Plimptonville, Prides Crossing, Mishawum, Plymouth, and Hastings) are all listed as "temporarily suspended" on current MBTA maps, and they haven't been formally abandoned. A sixth station - Silver Hill - reopened in November after nearly four years closed. Given that, this template should show them as "temporarily suspended" or "indefinitely closed", perhaps with an asterisk and that notation in the legend at the bottom. - Yeah, I asked because Prides Crossing and Hasting stations were removed, so I was curious about the status of the remaining three. Considering all five stations are in the same situation as each other, it seemed a bit odd to remove two of them yet leave the remaining three. OrdinaryScarlett (talk) 01:10, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- That was me, I removed them because I was not aware the closures were temporary at the time. I will put them back. Hotdog with ketchup (talk) 01:28, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
