[edit]I don't understand why this file should be removed. Let's take a look at other similar cases:
- Template:Liberalism in Australia - The Coat of Arms of Australia is not directly related to liberalism.
- Template:Liberalism in Brazil - The Coat of arms of Brazil is not directly related to liberalism.
- Template:Liberalism in Japan - The Imperial Seal of Japan is not directly related to liberalism.
- Template:Liberalism in Poland - The Coat of arms of Poland is not directly related to liberalism.
- Template:Liberalism UK - The Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom is not directly related to liberalism.
Besides, some of these images are not 'modern'. ProKMT (talk) 00:22, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- In many cases, the image of each country's Liberalism template and each country's Conservatism template are applied equally. Case: Template:Liberalism US/Template:Conservatism US, Template:Conservatism in South Korea/Template:Liberalism in South Korea, Template:Conservatism in Australia/Template:Liberalism in Australia, Template:Conservatism UK/Template:Liberalism UK ProKMT (talk) 00:26, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- OK, makes sense. ときさき くるみ not because they are easy, but because they are hard 17:51, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- Except that the dragon image isn't the coat of arms or emblem of either China? Are we pretending that the Manchu Qing emblem is representative of the Chinese nation? Importing poor practices from the Chinese Wikipedia is incredibly stupid, especially when a third opinion was against this at Template talk:Conservatism in China#Image, but I guess wait long enough and we can ignore site processes. - However, removing the existing China Dragon image creates another problem: If the template does not have an image, some users may add images related to the PRC. Template:Conservatism in China and the Template:Liberalism in China articles include the anti-communist 'Pro-ROC camp' in Hong Kong, conservatives/liberals with non-PRC pan-Chinese identity in Taiwan, and Chinese conservatives/liberals before 1949. - I would rather we delete. It's not related to the topic. It's not always necessary to use an image just because we can. I'm not worried about people adding other unrelated images. These days, the editors on our English-language China articles are quite fast at removing new junk. JArthur1984 (talk) 12:33, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
