This is a first stab. I may return to it at some point. Apologies for the poor implementation and documentation, but I'm not a template expert. Its first use was within Barcelona chair, where it replaces a hard-coded infobox. -- Trevj (talk) 10:47, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Useful additions to this infobox could be: "manufactured by", or "manufacturer", or "made by" (any of which could actually replace "sold by" in my view); "award" (for modern furniture, this could be useful); "notes" (for any additional information), and possibly "website" (for pieces that are still being manufactured).
