[edit]This template is not rendered properly on some pages. For example Canadian Senate and National Assembly of Quebec do not have the canadian flag on the far right side of the table. Any ideas why ? sikander 19:39, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
City councils
[edit]I made a new template for Canadian municipal councils:
Should this one continue to include the city councils of major cities or should it be limited to federal, provincial, territorial, and Indigenous assemblies? RedBlueGreen93 02:57, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- "top 10"... in terms of what? and how are they ordered? because it's not by metro population
- suggest getting rid of "top 10" and just list by province... even the "regions" approach is non-ideal —Joeyconnick (talk) 00:51, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah good points. But how should we modify this template specifically? RedBlueGreen93 06:27, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- Why would it be top 10 metros? City councils do not cover the entire metro areas.-- Earl Andrew - talk 13:25, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Joeyconnick and Earl Andrew: I am all in favour of discussing how to improve the {{Canadian municipal councils}} template, but these discussions should occur on its own talk page. For now I am just trying to figure out what to do with the {{Canadian Legislative Bodies}} template.
IS there ANY plus side for not merging this?
[edit]Is there any benefits towards not just merging this following template (Template:Lists_of_Canadian_parliaments) into this current one? These links seem almost redundant and overlapping. CaribDigita (talk) 20:52, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
