Tosun (construction equipment)

[edit]
  • ... that the armored wheel loader Tosun was upgraded to a remote controlled one because militants fired on the operator during the removal of barricades and trenches built by them in southeastern Turkey?

[1] (in Turkish)

  • Just long enough, new enough. Hook is 199 characters; within the 200 but could still do with editing down a tad. Hook cited ok. QPQ required but not done. I don't much like the technical specification section. First of all, it is directly copied from the source. That might be ok given the nature of specifications, but it reads more like a spammy list of sales points than a genuine technical specification. Compare, for instance, the technical specification in M74 Armored Recovery Vehicle. The redlinked polycarbon is probably a translation error for polycarbonate. • @Spinningspark: Redlink is fixed. I did check out the article you mentioned for the technical specification section, however, I found no similar portion to take as an example. Sorry for the missing QPQ. It was Template:Did you know nominations/Blackstone Legal Fellowship. I must have totally forgotten to mention it. Thanks for the review. CeeGee 10:41, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
  • QPQ checks out and the redlink is fixed. I'll suggest this for the hook,
  • ALT 1. ... that the armored wheel loader Tosun was upgraded to remote control because militants fired on the operator during removal of barricades in southeastern Turkey?
That leaves the "spammy list of sales points" as my only issue. I'm not happy with that in the article, unless the encyclopaedic parts of it are turned into prose instead. A real techical specification might include things like vehicle weight, dimensions, engine horsepower, max speed, load lifting capacity etc etc etc. In other words, I'd expect to see a lot of numbers. However, if another reviewer wants to comment and add an icon, I'll defer to their opinion. SpinningSpark 13:59, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
  • @Spinningspark: Removed "Technical specifications" section completely, and reworded "Remote control features". ALT1 is welcome. CeeGee 19:34, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
