Thomas Puccio
[edit]- ... that U.S. Justice Department attorney Thomas Puccio served as the basis for characters in the films Prince of the City and American Hustle?
Source: "The Not Quite Prince of the City" ("District Attorney Polito, the Puccio character in the film...") and "American Hustle and Me" ("Still, memories of Tom Puccio sadly tempered our evening. He died two years ago at the age of 67 and is depicted in the film as a glory-seeking bureaucrat with limited direct engagement in the case (Alessandro Nivola playing Anthony Amado).")
