Philip Jacobson

[edit]
  • ... that war correspondent Philip Jacobson placed bets on horse races while reporting from the battlefield?
  • ALT1:...that Philip Jacobson was known in journalistic circles for an eight-hour lunch in which he and a colleague consumed 13 bottles of alcohol and were applauded by the staff on leaving the restaurant?

Created by Philafrenzy (talk). Self-nominated at 09:54, 24 January 2018 (UTC).

  • Article is new and long enough. Well written and cited, and looks to be free of issues. ALT0 hook is good to go; ALT1 is too long and based off unverified (though properly sourced) legends. ALT0 is cited from a paywalled source. Should be good to go using ALT0. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 20:35, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
