ORMO
[edit]- ... that communist Poland's ORMO voluntary police reserves (pictured) specialized in staging and performing criminal acts, unlawful arrests and street beatings of peaceful protesters?

- That's not neutral (in my eyes) and something that seemingly outlandish needs more than one reference. Why have you linked street beatings to swarm behaviour? Secretlondon (talk) 20:12, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
- Done. I added 3 more reference points to the hook. I replaced the wrong i-link (above) with Swarming (military)#Modern military swarming since ORMO was indeed a paramilitary force (the i-link can also be removed altogether if needed). You're correct that extraordinary claims require sourcing. Please see my new ext. link to government-run Institute of National Remembrance webpage about that. Nearly every other source in our article says pretty much the same thing anyways. Thanks for helping out, Secretlondon. Much appreciated. You are welcome to add your own ALT hooks also. - I think the hook needs the word "communist" in there since otherwise it's confusing.VolunteerMarek 16:27, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- I totally agree. By the way, adding "communist" Poland's to the hook is still well-within the required length, at 179 chars. I already fixed that. Thank you, Volunteer Marek. Poeticbent talk 16:58, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- Looks good. The specific historical period is important as there have been all kind of volunteer paramilitary groups and this succinctly clarifies the time period the article covers.VolunteerMarek 23:47, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

- I'd suggest linking the "communist Poland's" to People's Republic of Poland. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 15:48, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
