New York City Comptroller Election, 2013

[edit]

  • This hook is not included in the page anywhere. CaseyPenk (talk) 20:23, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
It was included in the article... I am not sure who took it out or why. I will replace it.
Awesome, thanks for the response. And my comment was not an official review.. and even if it were a review you would have a chance to modify the hook and/or the article. So no worries, you're doing a good job.
Now my concern is about the source. HuffPo is not known for reliability, in part because of its tabloid style, and in part because it's more or less a blog. Can you find a citation for the hook in a more reliable source?
Something like this would probably be better. CaseyPenk (talk) 04:26, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Cool. Just making sure. I had a NY Times article sourced in the original spot, but when the content was removed, I just went with the first slightly-reasonable source I could fine. I understand your concern though. I will move the source. PrairieKid (talk) 04:49, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Nomination needs a full review. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:48, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Article new enough, long enough, no problems that I can see. Hook fact verified, and also genuinely interesting, which isn't often the case. First DYK nom, so no QPQ necessary. DoctorKubla (talk) 19:15, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
