Mahnaz Malik
- ... that barrister and arbitrator Mahnaz Malik worked with the Law Society of England and Wales to set up a program to assist imprisoned children in Pakistan? Source: "Mahnaz Malik, previously a litigation associate with Simmons in London, is coordinating the scheme with help from the Law Society. Named 'Project Advocate', the scheme will provide access to justice for children in detention in Pakistan." (Ex-Simmons lawyer launches scheme for Pakistani children - The Lawyer)

- Notable lawyer by a new editor assisted by Silver seren who has moved it very recently to main space. Looks like v.good work with refs. I went to look for a photo as the provenance of the photo in the article is not rock solid but I could see no others. I have asked @Njinfo10109: to see if they can assist. I added more detail of the scheme in Pakistan as it must be tricky to make progress using UK lawyers in another county's legal system. I can see no close paraphrasing (and Earwig cannot either). Well done @Silver seren: for releasing this from AfC and taking it to DYK. GTG without the pic Victuallers (talk) 16:49, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
