Hinulugang Taktak

[edit]
Hinulugang Taktak National Park
Hinulugang Taktak National Park

5x expanded by Arius1998 (talk). Self-nominated at 04:27, 30 May 2018 (UTC).

  • The article was nominated a day after its 5x expansion began, and it's adequately sourced. Article is stable, and is free of copyright violations. QPQ provided. ALT0 and ALT1 would probably be of most interest to general readers; Filipino-language source accepted for ALT0, while ALT1 has an English-language source. Only issue is that the article is currently classified as a stub: this needs to be resolved first before this is approved. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:37, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
In addition, I would suggest that ALT0 begin with the words "... that according to legend". Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:32, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for the initial assessment, @Narutolovehinata5: The article has already been submitted for assessment in at least two projects. Hopefully, the article would be reclassified soon in order to continue the DYK process. As for the hook, it can be agreed to be modified as follows: "... that according to legend, Hinulugang Taktak, a national park and protected landscape in Rizal, Philippines, gets its name from a bell thrown in the waterfall?" Arius1998 (talk) 06:10, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
@Arius1998: Your revised hook is almost acceptable; however, you may want to read WP:SEAOFBLUE first. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 07:15, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
@Narutolovehinata5: The hook can be modified as follows: "... that according to legend, Hinulugang Taktak, a national park and protected landscape in Rizal, Philippines, gets its name from a bell thrown in the waterfall?" Arius1998 (talk) 07:20, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
@Arius1998: Still too many blue links. Place name origins, national park, and protected landscape probably don't need to be linked. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 12:42, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
@Narutolovehinata5: Thank you for the recommendation. Kindly take a look at this modified hook: "... that according to legend, Hinulugang Taktak, a national park and protected landscape in Rizal, Philippines, gets its name from a bell thrown in the waterfall?" Arius1998 (talk) 01:59, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
@Arius1998: As I mentioned above, the only words that need to be linked here are "Hinulugang Taktak" and "Rizal", Philippines", and perhaps "legend". Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:03, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
@Narutolovehinata5: Your recommendation is appreciated. Please consider this modified hook: "... that according to legend, Hinulugang Taktak, a national park and protected landscape in Rizal, Philippines, gets its name from a bell thrown in the waterfall?" Arius1998 (talk) 02:07, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
  • Thanks, your revised ALT0 is approved. It's cited to a Filipino-language source so AGF accepted, but I'm Filipino myself and have read the source, and can confirm that it verifies the hook fact. Good to go. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:14, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
