Dat Sexy Body

[edit]
  • ... that the song "Dat Sexy Body" was released in 1998 but didn't gain chart success until five years later?

Created/expanded by DivaKnockouts (talk). Self nom at 04:14, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

  • Article, hook and QPQ all fine. 97198 (talk) 03:12, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the review! — DivaKnockouts (talk) 03:22, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Please could you clarify the QPQ claim given for the Bryan Loren nomination? I can see a very minor one word change to the hook suggested but if an extensive review of my review of that nomination was necessary and carried out, please could you let me know why so I do not make the same mistakes again? SagaciousPhil - Chat 07:08, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
There are actually much larger concerns which I have now presented on the Bryan Loren nomination regarding prose and etc. I consider that a review. — DivaKnockouts (talk) 12:43, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for clarifying that you have now undertaken a fuller review. SagaciousPhil - Chat 12:55, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
You're welcome. This could have been avoided if you would've noticed these mistakes the first time. — DivaKnockouts (talk)
  • My mistake. The original QPQ review probably wasn't thorough enough but is satisfactory now. 97198 (talk) 05:22, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Background section looks like it was meant to push the article over the limit. We have articles on both these people. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 22:56, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
Actually, sir, since it is the debut single that is commercially successful for Sasha and Ivy Queen. It is also the first single by both of them with an article. That's why I included some information on the artist. — DivaKnockouts (talk) 23:10, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
  • "Sasha was born in..."... that is textbook fluff. If you want background, tell us about their unsuccessful works which related in someway to "Dat Sexy Body", not stuff which is not pertinent. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 02:53, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
Have I addressed your concerns? — DivaKnockouts (talk) 03:05, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
  • No. "record producer, and actress known as the "Queen of Reggaetón" and the "only significant female reggaeton rapper" according to the New York Times" - Ivy Queen was none of these in 1998. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:25, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
Okay. I think I have finally addressed your concerns. Thank you for expressing them. — DivaKnockouts (talk) 13:48, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Almost. You shouldn't cite Amazon. Perhaps discogs would be better. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:41, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

  • Reinstating tick. The sources I've checked have no close paraphrasing. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 05:49, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
