Article created on 7th Nov and nominated within the 7 day period. DYK check tool returns a value of 2992 characters (507 words) "readable prose size"; is long enough. A basic read of the prose shows it is policy compliant - neutral tone and cites sources. Earwigs copyvio detector returns a value of 23.1% "violation unliekly". Further most of the similarities between sources and content are names, designations or distinctions. Copyvio check ok.
Length of hook ok. The hook is interesting (But usage of "invented", legal theory, usage of the word customary - can be misleading in certain ways and not easy to understand for those who arent familiar with these terms in relation to the said law but I guess that is a domain matter so we can let it be) Since the overall meaning comes through and also is interesting its ok.
The hook is mentioned inline and supported by a source. A line in the original source says - source says - "Bin Cheng finds that a customary international law norm might be created instantly "over night"". I am not sure how much removing the word "norm" does to the meaning.
Accordingly, hook ALT0 is fine according to me, but I am suggesting a simpler hook if Zanhe has no problem with it...

Both ALT0 and ALT1 good to go. ALT1 preferred over ALT0 for lack of complications, even though ALT0 is interesting. DTM (talk) 05:34, 20 November 2019 (UTC)
