Nominated Article For Additional Protection

[edit]

This article has recently become the subject of an ongoing news story. As a result, I have nominated it for additional protections. I propose these protections last as long as the story is not resolved. Steve.A.Dore.4 (talk) 15:12, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Controversial info is undue and violates BLP

[edit]

User keeps returning allegations of doping. Details can be found in the article Concerns and controversies at the 2024 Summer Olympics, which provides an in-depth look at the issue. The entire team was tested, and a detailed explanation about the team's situation, rather than just brief mentions of individual swimmers, is available in the Concerns and controversies at the 2024 Summer Olympics article. Regarding this article, a whole section on doping seems unnecessary since multiple international organizations, including the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)and the International Olympic Committee, have refuted the allegations. Sources have also reported that WADA has accused American committees of politicizing the Olympics. [1]. This goes beyond the scope of this article. Info should be removed. sources barely mention Zhang.

User is also copying and pasting the same info across the bios of multiple swimmers who were briefly mentioned in the sources.
