Banners

[edit]

I've re-inserted the world heritage sites project banner, which was removed today with no explanation. I don't see any justification for its removal here, and the new project banner's inclusion is not incompatible with the world heritage site's banner. So, unless someone can explain the reasoning behind its removal that is convincing and also has a consensus for its removal, I think both should be included.  DDStretch  (talk) 09:45, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:1 zhangjiajie huangshizhai wulingyuan panorama 2012.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on June 21, 2014. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2014-06-21. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. Thanks! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:23, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wulingyuan
Wulingyuan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Hunan, China, which was designated in 1992. It consists of more than 3,000 quartzite sandstone pillars, many over 200 metres (660 feet) in height, as well as caves, streams, pools, waterfalls, and two natural bridges.
