recent addition of refimprove
[edit]I recently added {{refimprove}}. I thought it was obvious, but apparently not. The attendance figures are not supported. There are many references for the section headings, but it's not clear what those references are supporting. It appears that the venues and dates are supported, but little else. There is a heavy amount of vandalism (misinformation from Pollstar, an unreliable source). — Preceding unsigned comment added by HorrorLover555 (talk • contribs) 22:01, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

Vandalism seems to have become persistant in regards to Attendance, Gross numbers and references to unreliable sources. They seem to be coming from unregistered users, and new accounts that are not auto-confirmed. It can be a bit difficult to fix. I have fixed the current version, but it is unknown when or how soon it'll be vandalized again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HorrorLover555 (talk • contribs) 04:18, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

Kirk/Rob doodle
[edit]Can we add a column on tour dates to include the Kirk/Rob doodle songs? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theorb (talk • contribs) 14:30, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
- According to WP:BOLD, you can do anything. According to WP:V, it has to be verifiable, and that usually means adding a reliable source to the "doodle". Not many have been sourced, so it may be better to include the reliably sourced doodles in the sub-section. Per WP:INDISCRIMINATE, we don't want to just gather the information because we can. It would be best if there were multiple sources to support the notability of this phenomenon, and that would include individual doodles. Finally, if the only source is a video, we need to be careful of two things. The first is WP:COPYLINK. The video owner must have permission to distribute the copyrighted material being performed. That means it's not a fan video and if it's a band video, we know that they have paid the copyright for the work. The Billboard reference is already problematic since we don't know if the band paid for the royalties to perform "Dancing Queen", and the article links to it. The second is that the video clearly states what is being performed and no interpretation of the work is required. That is the case with the two band videos, but may not be with a medley or other type of work. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:51, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
- Added or not, can anybody give a link to a list with all the doodles so far? Thanks.--2003:EE:3F1B:4BD6:BC1E:EC38:3A2A:A163 (talk) 07:26, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
S&M Anniversary tour dates
[edit]@Walter Görlitz: Hey there. Perhaps we can see if a compromise could made regarding the Symphony and Metallica Anniversary concerts in the tour dates. Don't worry, I'm not mad that you reverted it, but I figure we could talk about it and see what the final result could be. If nothing works, we can keep it the way it is. :) HorrorLover555 (talk) 05:02, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- I see that there are other, similar entries. I understand that there is no opening act, but why are attendance and revenue not applicable? Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:09, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Walter Görlitz: Do you think it should be applicable? I mean, unless there are no box office numbers for it from Billboard, then I guess it is alright to leave it the way it is and not insert an not applicable tag until Billboard posts the numbers. Either way, it's fine. HorrorLover555 (talk) 05:14, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- My take is that it's speculative at this point as it's in the future. Why do you think it is not applicable?
- You don't need to ping me as this article is on my watch list.
- Very true, it hasn't happened yet. Probably best not to touch on that then until after those two shows have happened. HorrorLover555 (talk) 05:30, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- I've already made that edit. Not sure it's really part of this tour though. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:57, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
