Were they a small Trotskyist political party?
[edit]It looks to me that they were never a small Trotskyist political party as is claimed in the lead of the article but rather they were a group of fraudsters who pretended to be a small Trotskyist political party. Have they ever been a genuine party? Is the group of people who split with them (the Group of Proletarian Revolutionaries - Collectivists) a genuine political group?--JK the unwise 11:13, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- No, I think that they were a genuine Trotskyist party, with a corrupt leadership. They seem to have been above board until 2000; in their warnings, the split and the Maoist group never claimed that they hadn't been a genuine CWI section. There's nothing clear on what happened to the split, but I suspect that they may have rejoined Workers Resistance - it's still listed as a member of the CWI, who has announced that they are rebuilding the section. - fair enough, this might become clearer if more information about the genuine activities of the group can be found.--JK the unwise 11:52, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- No, the expelled people haven't rejoined Workers' Resistance. They've formed a new group - I don't know the name of it though. Homey 13:28, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
Apostrophe
[edit]Is it "Workers Resistance" or "Workers' Resistance"? The article uses both. I think the apostrophe version makes more grammatical sense. --Fang Aili talk 19:13, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
GPRC
[edit]Group of Proletarian Revolutionaries Collectivists never was a part of WR. I begrounded GPRC independently of Vernik. But I really knew Vernik and in 1992 recommended it to Ted Grant's tendency (mea maxima culpa) . . . In 2003 I received information about the scam and sent it to my Western left-wing friends. See more about that - http://www.cdi.org/russia/johnson/2008-204.cfm , http://proletar.org.ua/vck/537/vladislav-bugera-ufa-moskva-rf-pismo-v-rassylku-stachkomru-31-avgusta-2003-goda . - Vladislav Bugera, a begrounder of GPRC Бугера Владислав Евгеньевич (talk) 07:07, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
