Hi! I will be reviewing this article, expect the initial remarks soon! Vestrian24Bio 11:34, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
Comments
[edit]- EARWIG shows 11.5% - violations unlikely.
- According to link-dispenser,
- 14 refs need an archive link.
- Ref 7 is an unreliable source.
- Ref 38 isn't formatted correctly.
- There's a redundant row in the Release history table.
- Add a {{Ref.}} column to the Release history table.
- Remove the {{Authority control}} template.
Vestrian24Bio 12:16, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
- ref 7 is removed, ref 38 is fixed brachy08 (chat here lol) 12:49, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
- Also, add language variant and date format templates and ref 24 also has the formatting issue, check other refs from {{Single chart}} template as well, just to be sure. Vestrian24Bio 13:12, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
- "Release and commercial performance" section should come before "Critical reception" section.
- "Release and live performances" and "Commercial performance" could be two separate sections.
- "Personnel" section should be placed before "Charts" section.
- Isn't there a cover image for either version of the songs to be added to the infobox.
- Isn't it a 2014 song?
- It was released as a promotional single on Apple Music on 2015 so technically a promotional single. brachy08 (chat here lol) 11:21, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- Infobox should have the initial release date of the song.
- Multiple songs don’t even have initial release dates anyway (see New Romantics (Taylor Swift song)) brachy08 (chat here lol) 11:21, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- For both releases mention the music label in the lead. Also, mention the producers for "Taylor's Version".
- Link Taylor Swift masters dispute in the lead.
- Add a second paragraph in the lead, summarizing critical reception and commercial performance.
- ""Wonderland" uses imagery from children's novel Alice in Wonderland to describe an intense relationship, referencing characters from the book" - not mentioned anywhere in the article, currently unsourced.
- Mention which tours the song was performed as part of in the lead.
- Move the re-recording release stuffs to the third paragraph of the lead.
- Nothing about the Taylor's Version in the "Background and production" and "Music and lyrics" sections?
- Added mention of Taylor's Version to "Music and lyrics", even though it is a bit... insignificant. Also yup, nothing in "Background and production" (see I Wish You Would (Taylor Swift song))
- Link The Observer and add author info in ref 11.
- Italicize and link Rolling Stone in the "Critical reception" section and in ref 12.
in a retrospective ranking of Taylor's discography,
should bein a retrospective ranking of Swift's discography in 2024,
.- Italicize and link AV Club and Business Insider" in the "Critical reception" section and in refs 13 & 14.
- Link Notion in the "Critical reception" section and in ref 15.
- Similarly link publishers in all citations. Vestrian24Bio 10:41, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- The itacalization is done by default in FNs... will get to doing it on the prose itself brachy08 (chat here lol) 09:59, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Is that all the "Critical reception" both tracks got..?
- In the first sentence of "Release and commercial performance", why is there a space between "1989" and ";".
- Italicize Target in the "Release and commercial performance" section.
- Links to Reputation Stadium Tour (2018) and Eras Tour in the "Release and commercial performance" section.
- Mention that the mashups were performed on the Eras Tour.
- no need for that. See Sparks Fly (song) (a GA) and How You Get the Girl (a FA). both songs were performed both as standalone songs and as part of mashups on the eras tour. brachy08 (chat here lol) 10:13, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- Is that all the charting for both tracks..?
- Use the column template for the "Charts" section.
- a bit confused by what you meant...
- How did it peak at 84 in the ARIA Top 50 Singles..
- "Release history" and "Personnel" for the Taylor's Version?
- "Release history" is unnecessary, as the Taylor's Version is not a single/promotional single. Will add personnel for TV
@Brachy0008: that's all. Vestrian24Bio 10:41, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Brachy0008: you there?? Vestrian24Bio 01:59, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- i’m still there, don’t worry about it brachy08 (chat here lol) 02:58, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- target does not need itacalization as it is a shop, not a website. brachy08 (chat here lol) 10:09, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- i should have addressed most or all of your points alr... brachy08 (chat here lol) 10:26, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- 2 points from above remain.
- Is it necessary to use nbsp before dashes in the personnels section.
- Specify a language variant and date format templates.
- I also did some minor changes hope you're also okay with them.
Vestrian24Bio 11:08, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- nbsp: yes. brachy08 (chat here lol) 12:13, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- done with the language variant and date format brachy08 (chat here lol) 12:16, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- There are three ref errors, and language variant isn't there yet. Vestrian24Bio 12:34, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- should be fixed by now brachy08 (chat here lol) 00:24, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
