The Morgridge Institute for Research is the private division Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery. It is notable as part of the joint public/private venture that is the Institutes, but not so much that it needs it's own article. The relevant information could be moved to this article and given proper context. Also, are we really going to have three articles on two groups that essentially will share the same office space (the private Morgridge Institute for Research, the public Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, and the private/public Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery)? They even share the same webpage. Anyone else have thoughts, or should we just do the merger? Daniel J Simanek (talk) 08:39, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

For clarification purposes,the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery is actually the name of the building, and within the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery building resides two institutes--one is a public institute named the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery and the other is a private not-for-profit medical research institute named the Morgridge Institute for Research. Both of these institutes are affiliated with the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Although the public institute operates administratively under the aegis of UW-Madison, the Morgridge Institute for Research does not operate administratively under UW-Madison, and because of this, its tax (not-for-profit) and organizational structure is inherently different than the public institute and it should have its own Wikipedia article.
