Whitworth Exhibitioner
[edit]Maybe somebody could explain what a "Whitworth exhibitioner" is, as this is a somewhat specific term. The information available suggests that is / has been some sort of technical sponsorship / award. According to an article in the New Scientist issue dating 21 October 1982 "The Whitworth Foundation is prepared to offer four Awards to candidates of high quality to carry out an approved project of potential value to the engineering industry of the United Kingdom. These awards should lead to the designatory titles of Whitworth Fellow or Whitworth Exhibitioner. The granting of the titles will depend on an assessment of the final reports." Could that be referenced somehow? - 194.246.46.15 (talk) 14:56, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
