Latter Day Saint?

Do we know if Hooper was a member of the LDS Church? There were non-Mormons who were members of the church's Council of Fifty, and nothing in the sourced biography says he was LDS. For this reason, I've removed Category:American Latter Day Saints. Good Ol’factory ^(talk) 06:52, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
