Image issue

[edit]

According to a note left on the article by another editor: "The image shown on this page is taken from a portrait of Wm Clark, 1870-1838, of Lewis & Clark fame; it is NOT William Clark US Treasurer from Pennsylvania. Please help find correct image."

That appears to be true, although I'm not sure. But the image has appeared elsewhere online as being THIS Wm Clark (likely because of the Wikipedia page) and so I removed it from the article and am placing it here until someone more expert can address the confusion.
