[edit]How about Poles? Poland seem to be a western allied country, but there's nothing about Poland in this article. Please, someone focus on this. Thank you MeusH 62.111.138.18 12:40, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Italy
[edit]As far as the Allies were concerned, Italy was never an Ally but a "co-belligerent" and were not therefore a "Western Ally". Stephen Kirrage talk - contribs 10:13, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
"Combined with fascist opposition from occupied European countries and powerful military production and invention, such as the atomic bomb, from the Western Allies, the military prowess of the Axis powers could not compete and eventually failed."
This implies that the western allies were solely resonsible for the axis defeat, when in fact 80% of germany's (the most significant axis partner by far) war was with the soviet union. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.164.84.106 (talk) 06:28, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
