Citations?

[edit]

There aren't any. This sounds like an ad. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 140.142.159.3 (talkcontribs) .

None? There are 6 references. If you're referring to lack of specific line-by-line citing of the references, I follow the model of other encyclopedias (American Nat'l Biography, New Grove, etc) of simply listing a bibliography of sources, rather than overloading an article with footnote links after each sentence (I make an exception for quotations, though). --Davepape 18:26, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please consider choosing Wikipedia's preferred referencing format. We prefer footnotes, so then it's much easier for readers to decide which book/article/whatever is most relevant for further reading. As it is, any fact could be in any article, essentially. -- Zanimum 19:07, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The tone towards the end (merges and acquisitions) loses its objectivity, could stand to be edited back to the facts rather than opinion. I updated a few points, but could do with a more experienced hand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.2.197.244 (talk) 14:45, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
