Dimensions
[edit]The 5 ball size is described as ".7 meters or 28 inches." But .7 meters is about
39.37 * .7 = 27.56 inches
This doesn't seem sufficiently precise - which dimension is the right one?
Thanks, Stuart H. Alden (talk) 22:07, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- The FINA rules are not really precise:
- WP 3.3 For games played by men, the circumference of the ball shall be not less than 0.68 metres and not more than 0.71 metres...
- WP 3.4 For games played by women, the circumference of the ball shall be not less than 0.65 metres and not more than 0.67 metres...
- So make the correction to these sizes, if you wish. Ryanjo (talk) 01:54, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Pressure
[edit]"Ball weight is 400-450 grams (14-16 ounces) and inflated to approximately 34-48 kPa (5-7 PSI)[1] of pressure." Which is the real source of this assertion? A source is provided but it says nothing.
It seems the ball is quite harder as 90/97 kPa as many other authoritative sources says.
