Lt. Charles Scheffel

[edit]

The section on Lt. Scheffel described him as "an amazing man and soldier." This appears to have been done by a family member or family friend. While I respect that opinion, it constitutes editorializing and is not neutral. 108.202.62.77 (talk) 08:43, 8 January 2012 (UTC)Alex[reply]

Followup: the treatment of Charles Scheffel was revised sometime during last three years and there is no longer a problem that way. --doncram 21:19, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As well as dealing with the tags on the page, the empty sections should be completed before it's worth copy editing this. --Stfg (talk) 17:56, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Development by watchers

[edit]

The series is available in Netflix currently (January 2015). Not sure if that can/should be noted in article.

To me, the article's topic is clearly notable, and the article is really pretty good. I removed several negative tags that seem not to apply (maybe the article was improved since 2010), and replaced just by one: {{more footnotes}} (which calls for inline citations). Further development is not hugely needed, IMHO.

In general, can watchers of the TV series cite the series itself? The TV episodes themselves are sources, should be as legitimate as printed sources. Obviously they are primary sources of info about what the episodes contain, but primary sources can be used, with care, in Wikipedia. I think informed watchers/viewers should be able to generalize from the episodes themselves, though I am not sure how that is done in other articles. --doncram 21:19, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
