Supposed "activity" in the 1880s.
[edit]They only reference provided about this activity is an article about a confirmed hoax in the 20th century. Since the Albuquerque Volcanic Field is monogenetic, it seems unlikely that this ~150k year old volcano will erupt again. The reference to activity in the 1880s should probably be removed unless another source attesting it can be found. Angiest (talk) 18:12, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
- Agreed. The source is unreliable and the claim extremely dubious. Removing. --Kent G. Budge (talk) 18:45, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
- Even if true (which is pretty damn unlikely) a reliable source may not ever exist considering the time period, when ABQ was mostly just a remote plaza town and a railroad stop. The forementioned volcanological view is yet another layer. Thank you Mr. Budge! Kehkou (talk) 02:05, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
