Re: Other languages

[edit]

Tagging translators: The french article for Hachinski is of very poor quality and needs to be updated for accuracy and to be made current. May I suggest translating the english article to achieve this?

Re: close connection to the subject

[edit]

I was very diligent and conscientious in writing this article to avoid bias, provide only information that can be confirmed by third party resources, source all material vigilantly, and remain in keeping with wikipedia's guidelines. I did this so that other users would be easily able to confirm my research and corroboate the article's content. I appreciate that this must be done given my proximity to the subject. I hope such corroboration can be accomplished quickly and easily. I am happy to provide support to this process any way I can. User:Doc_James perhaps you'd be willing to help with this, or know of someone else that might? --Rmcn (talk) 20:21, 1 August 2016 (UTC) --Rmcn (talk) 02:51, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Re: "Awards and Recognitions" section

[edit]

Undid revision by Tryptofish (talk), who cited WP:NOTRESUME as reason. I argue awards and recognitions have not been listed with the intention to "make a personal webpage or blog or to post [Hachinski's] résumé," but to show notability. Only major accomplishments that (1) can be reasonably considered to be career-defining in Hachinski's field and (2) can be easily verified through third parties have been included. If the section merits paring-down or re-structuring into prose/narrative, let's work on that and discuss here further. --Rmcn (talk) 22:48, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Re: lists to prose

[edit]

I recognize that I should not be the one to remove the prose tag from the "Non-scientific publications" section due to COI. Thus, in good faith, I request that another editor review the changes I have made to address the issue and perform the removal. User:Tryptofish, perhaps you'll want to take a look.--Rmcn (talk) 00:05, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
