Wilfork is signing a deal with the Houston Texans. Therefore I think the page should be updated where appropriate (specifically where it says he is currently a free agent). 67.87.170.55 (talk) 19:34, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: as you have not cited reliable sources to back up your request, without which no information should be added to, or changed in, any article. - Arjayay (talk) 19:47, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a place?

[edit]

He’s set to co-host NFL Tailgate Takedown on Food Network, but Wilfork’s non-football endeavors are currently undocumented here (not that I’ve looked into a truer starting point yet). I have a reference ready too([1]) 108.41.81.126 (talk) 06:45, 24 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure where to include this - but the main entry states he is "considered one of the greatest defensive tackles of all time". This isn't true. He's not a shoo-in Hall of Famer, and likely won't make it for a long time [if ever]. He doesn't have the statistical numbers and his accolades are not HoF/GOAT. I watched him for many many years and he was great, but not the greatest ever "overall". He had a specific niche of being a run-stopping nose tackle. This section could be changed to "one of the greatest run-stopping defensive tackles of all time", but broadly calling him one of the greatest DTs of all time is inaccurate - the two quoted articles come from Boston newspapers (i.e. Patriots' fans). — Preceding unsigned comment added by SlossEdits (talkcontribs) 21:10, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
