Merge
[edit]I've done a request to merge video tolling and Videomaut. Maut (German) is toll (English). Here the same subject is being treated. Davin7 (talk) 10:27, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- I found a thrid one, describing the samen: Telepass. Davin7 (talk) 15:29, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- I agree it makes sense to move the Videomaut article into this one. I just took a stab at integrating the article and removing some information that was related to the Austrian system of toll roads in general, but of no particular relevance to Videomaut. Regarding the Telepass article (I also wrote that one), I don't believe it should be merged, as Telepass is not a video tolling system. It operates with On-Board Units only and is more comparable to EZ-Pass than to general video tolling. Markus Stamm (talk) 21:27, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
- In addition to merging the Videomaut article, I also slightly changed the structure of the existing information so the general information related to Video tolling technology is presented first, and region-specific sections follow. Perhaps it is too early, but I suggest the "stub" template could even be removed. Markus Stamm (talk) 21:35, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
