Merger proposal

The United Country Party (Australia) was merely one in a succession of names used by what began as the VFU and is today the state National Party; adopted when the party absorbed the breakaway Country Progressive Party in 1930. Having multiple articles on what was the same party is confusing as shown by the UCP article which presents it as a faction in a 1937 divide when it was in fact the continuing state party with an anti-Coalition position (and the Liberal Country Party a breakaway).
