[edit]Victor Gotbaum was part of the scandals in New York City. The union is huge in NY politics... Though not as big now as SEIU 1100 lots of votes. John wesley 20:37, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
But, to my knowledge, Gotbaum did not leave DCD37 in a scandal, or at least not becuase of the DC37 scandals that blew up under Hill. (Which is what the citation of the article implies). And the article cited nowhere states that Gotbaum left his post in a scandal. Can we take this phrase out, or back it up with a better reference?Matt 17:14, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I will try to go downtown or ask someone about DC37,... he must be real old to remember. John wesley 19:27, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
I moderated the statement for now. I'll look for a good source as to why he left in 1988. (My main source for the updates ends in 1984). Matt 02:45, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
