Notability
[edit]I am not sure, but this page really looks like it was copy-pasted from a sales brochure of an ordinary diner. Can anyone confirm its notability? If not, it would be better to put WP:AfD, maybe WP:SPEEDY. --Emre D. | Talk 02:35, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- I disagree. Except for the legends about the celebrities and the "secret orders" which I can't attest to, everything stated looks fine. I first started going to Vic's in about 1957. It was a tradition for everyone in Land Park to go to Vic's for an ice cream, a soda, or a fried hot dog sandwich (using toast, not a bun.) There is a playground on the 13th Avenue side of Land Park, near the baseball fields. In the 1950's and 1960's, every day during the summer, the local kids would walk or ride their bicycles to Vic's during the hottest part of the day to get an ice cream cone, a cherry coke, or a "suicide" (mixture of every soft drink flavor in the store.) Following Little League games, Vic's was the place to celebrate your victory, or forget the loss caused by dropping that easy fly ball. - Thanks for the info. As the article is not tagged, there is nothing to be done. However, despite you have confirmed its notability, it still does not seem encyclopedic at all. Cheers.... --Emre D. | Talk 23:58, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

The Cherry Amaretto is to rob convenience stores for the ice cream addiction habit. I live in San Luis Obispo and buy coolers and dry ice to pack this flavor back to SLO Town.
