Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

@JMyrleFuller can you please explain why the Orlando Guardians are related to the Tampa Bay Vipers, beside the fact that the two teams plays in FL? If we want to say there's a connection between 2020 teams to the 2023 teams, Tampa Bay should be Vegas and NY should "move" to Orlando. StanleyKey (talk) 01:48, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, @StanleyKey:. The reason why they're discussed as one article is mainly because the decision to transfer the Guardians brand to Orlando wasn't made until well after the decision to put a team in Orlando at the expense of Tampa Bay, which most sources at the time (between the forced end of the 2020 season and when the brands were revealed) had indicated would have been more akin to a relocation. Unfortunately, the musical chairs that Johnson/Garcia et al. decided to do with the team brandings threw a wrench into that neat little plan of succession as it initially appeared it would be. So as it stands now, I don't object to splitting the two into separate articles (and would actually recommend it). J. Myrle Fuller (talk) 02:10, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I second this; without an official source it seems more likely to treat the Vipers as a relocated team rather than creating a large confusing mess of history. This is probably the best decision unless the XFL states something specifically to the contrary. Camelboiis (talk) 08:06, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
