Order of names

The article says "Vambery is the last name" of two Hungarians. Would someone who knows reword that? Doesn't a Hungarian surname come before the given name? Though I have met Hungarian expatriates in countries where surname comes last following that convention for the benefit of the natives. --SilasW 21:12, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
