Abuse of Power
[edit]There is video evidence that the UTA Police violate peoples' rights, by:
- Punishing them for exercising their right to remain silent
- Charging them with the crime of loitering for waiting for a ride after getting off the train, waiting for a ride.
Being wrongfully charged can have devastating consequences.
- Unable to get a new job
- Unable to find housing
The injustice is devastating.
It seems to me that the UTA Police need to be overseen by a Civilian Complaint Review Board like Salt Lake City is so that the UTA police be more just. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaydell (talk • contribs) 20:52, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
