No bronze

[edit]

hmmm.... Why no bronze?

Only two teams showed up. -- Jonel (Speak to me) 23:27, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sweden won?

[edit]

The article says that Sweden won, yet the official Olympic Channel on YouTube states Great Britain defeated Sweden and won gold. Clip here. Wes Mouse  05:26, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Sweden won. That clip's title contradicts its own description, which says "At the Stockholm 1912 Olympic Games, only two teams took part of the competition, Sweden and Great Britain. Several of the British athletes who competed in the tug of war event in the 1912 Summer Olympics, were medalists from the London 1908 Games. They would medal once again in Stockholm, taking -- however -- the silver medal; while the Swedish hosts won the Olympic Gold medal." This description is consistent with the official report and other sources. -- Jonel (Speak to me) 14:49, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
