I starded making this line map of Hovedbanen and Gardermobanen, but I'm a bit unsure of all the points those two meshes. If someone with a bit more knowledge of these particular lines could fill in it would be greatly appreciated. --GSchjetne 22:29, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit: It should be pretty accurate by now. However I'm still kind of unsure about the arrangement at Oslo S. I want it to be as accurate as possible in showing how all the branches are laid out, however it shouldn't affect readability. Help is appreciated. --GSchjetne 11:55, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think you got it well there, you even picked up the fact that Gjøvikbanen dips south before passing under the main line. I don't think anybody could reasonably ask for anything more than that. :-) Sjakkalle (Check!) 13:42, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The name of the article

[edit]

Why call this article "Trunk Line"? Why not use the original English name "Norwegian Trunk Railway" or the official Norwegian name "Hovedbanen", or use the terminal stations in the name to make it more informative for non-scandinavian readers: "Oslo - Eidsvoll railway" or "Oslo - Eidsvoll line". --Sveins (talk) 12:30, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
