The logo shown on this page was replaced in early 2015 because it violated copyrights held by the Detroit Tigers (the Tiger pose is very, very similar to one they created). Someone better at Wiki than I should update it. :-) 207.11.113.30 (talk) 17:13, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
2 points?
[edit]"two points with two seconds left. With time for only one more play and needing to score a touchdown to win"
Didn't they need just a field goal? Kingturtle = (talk) 00:19, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
If they had a kicker who could nail a field goal from 78 yards away, sure. Given that the all-time NCAA record is 67 yards (and that by a Division I kicker), the only way to win was by scoring a touchdown. 207.11.113.30 (talk) 13:36, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
Merge Request
[edit]Request merging the information on the article for the E. M. Stevens Baseball Field here since the article in question is literally only one line and I've been unable to find enough details to expand the article correctly. FriarTuck1981 (talk) 04:45, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
I don't think it's even called EM Stevens any more. If you visit the Trinity athletics site and pull up the baseball field (under facilities) the name shown is simply "Trinity Baseball Field." Same thing happened to the football stadium a few years ago for reasons unknown. 207.11.113.30 (talk) 13:44, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Trinity Tigers
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Trinity Tigers's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "auto2":
- From Jeremy Wolf: "Former Tiger All-American Jeremy Wolf Gives Back to Baseball". Trinity (TX). May 29, 2019.
- From UTEP Miners football: PILARTE, DORALISA (December 14, 1986). "MINERS DIG IN : Stull Improves Texas El Paso's Record to 4-8". Archived from the original on October 24, 2015 – via LA Times.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 23:57, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
