@Desoda: Any confirmations on his real name? I'd doubt it's Bjørn Heyerdahl for two reasons below:
1. The biographical details of Tormentor and Bjørn Tore Heyerdahl don't match. Sourcing Metalion, Tormentor was born in Geilo, 1972. Heyerdahl was born on 22 June 1978 and he's from Oslo.
2. His metal-archives profile was at first opened as Bjørn "Bollø" Heyerdahl, but on 17 April 2011 his real name is changed into Bjørn Olav Telnes (which I think is more likely but can't find enough sources to confirm). Isvind (talk) 15:28, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I just went with the multiple sources on nowiki referring to the name Heyerdahl. Maybe he did change his name at some point, I don't know. Or the name Heyerdahl is a red herring. Desoda (talk) 19:25, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Desoda: Just checked out the sources in Norwegian wiki. But none of them answer my questions above. If Tormentor is that man, where did the birth date 5 June 1972 come from? If the latter is right, why did the name Bjørn Heyerdahl stick with him?
Besides, you may also check out the discussion in the Norwegian page in 2010 where a user (who claims he knows Tormentor personally) doubted Tormentor's real name as well (to what I got from Google Translate, you may have a better understanding) and questioned the sources given. You can see here:
@Isvind: One contributor (who claimed knowing him personally) claimed the name Heyerdahl was a hoax, while the others maintained that as long as there were no substantial corroborating sources, the name would stay. This was back in 2009/2010. I don't know which name is correct. There are a few sites now that are referring to the name 'Telnes' but I don't know where they got their information from.
