Expansion

[edit]

Since this is the first in a series it should be expanded (the plot especially sould be expanded in more detail). The infobox needs information on the film added to it as well.--Paleface Jack (talk) 23:00, 10 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Article Expansion

[edit]

This article is missing more information on the film's production, most of the information in the article's production section is about it's distribution and other versions of the film which should be in their own separate sections. Information on the film's development, writing, and filming should be added to this article. Since the film is significant in being the first early response to George Romero's Night of the Living Dead and its success helped start a wave of clones of Romero's landmark Living Dead series, however it all started with the success of this film which predates Fulci's Zombi 2. More work needs to be done to this article since it also is missing citations, and important information on the film. All of these additions and changes need to occur in order for this article to fit wikipiedia's standards of a well developed article.--Paleface Jack (talk) 15:45, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've used these sources for a number of articles: Horror Films of the 1970s and Zombie Movies: The Ultimate Guide. I haven't read through them yet, but they're both usually very informative. I already checked Dendle's Zombie Movie Encyclopedia, and it wasn't too in-depth. Dendle says it's one of his favorite films, but he doesn't dedicate a lot of space to coverage. I think there was an interview with Dendle where he talked more about it, but I don't have it bookmarked. It looks like there's a fair bit of critical commentary available at Google Books, so I just have to stop being so lazy and read through them. I was going to expand this article back a while ago, but I never really got around to it. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:28, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have the first one but not the others. In Horror Films of the 1970s the only information that I could add to this article would be the review and the plot and not information about the film's production. I have seen several video interviews from the film's makers which might work but right now I am way too busy to go into a lot of detail when expanding the article. Thanks though.--Paleface Jack (talk) 18:40, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Huh. Looking over the article, I already added a citation to Muir's Horror Movies of the 1970s entry. Well, it was a few months ago, and I must have forgotten. The biggest problem, for me, is that I don't read/speak Spanish. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 20:26, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
