Oppose all. The inclusion of Clancy's name seems to me to be a marketing exercise, rather than part of the novel's title as most would understand it. I do however feel that Wikipedia:Naming conventions (books) isn't helpful on this particular matter, and could perhaps do with some work. Andrewa (talk) 15:33, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Runaway is a common title for books [1], and this is not even close to the one most people would be looking for, as exemplified by the number of reviews at Amazon.com ... Alice Munro's book has 33[2], this book has just one[3]. 76.66.192.35 (talk) 10:46, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

    - Cover art is generally a poor indicator of the actual title. WP:NCDAB reads in part If there are several possible choices for disambiguating with a class or context, use the same disambiguating phrase already commonly used for other topics within the same class and context, if any. See Strangers#Literature for an example of what I'd consider standard Wikipedia disambiguation for novels where multiple authors have used the same title.       - The fact that the cover clearly uses "Tom Clancy's Net Force Explorers" in the title means that people will actually enter it into the search box, or try to link to it in articles under that title, whereas a parenthetically disambiguated form is much less likely to garner traffic in that way, unless people search through the dab page/search box results or notice the disambiguated linkages to the article, which is why the non-parenthetical forms are better titles. 76.66.192.35 (talk) 05:11, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: The title of this novel may vary between Runaway and Runaways depending on editon, see http://www.amazon.co.uk/Runaways-Tom-Clancys-Net-Force/dp/0425181502 which seems to be the same novel as http://www.amazon.com/Runaway-Tom-Clancys-Force-Explorers/dp/0613827422 and http://www.amazon.ca/Runaway-Tom-Clancy/dp/0613827422 for starters. - An interesting point... re-examining the Amazon cover image, there is indeed an "s" at the end. The cover at Barnes and Noble also has an "s" [5] (USA). For Chapters/Indigo [6] there is no cover image, but the system claims to have an "s" (Canada), I can't find the title at Wetstone's (UK) or Dymocks (Australia) ; ok, so it appears this article may already misnamed, and probably should have an "s" in any case. 76.66.192.35 (talk) 05:28, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
