We should try to get this up to Did You Know? quality so it can be featured on the main page! We only have a few days, so hopefully we can add sources, etc. asap! --Midnightdreary 16:25, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section

[edit]

The lead section keeps getting tagged with requests for citations, clarification, etc. I'm trying to follow guidelines in WP:LEAD as best I can. But, also, as a general practice, most intros are not bogged down with citations. According to WP:LEAD#Citations in the lead section, citations are only needed for contentious or possibly contested info. I don't really see anything particularly scandal-arousing or controversial about the lead in "Thou Art the Man." Could someone help me out here? --Midnightdreary 13:49, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect the problem is with the "perhaps", which does smack a bit of weasel wording. I'd either change it to a more certain statement, or link the citation used farther down the page at the end of the sentence. GeeJo (t)(c) • 14:18, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
