[edit]Dear All,
Personal assistant to luthier Thomas Meuwissen, I would like to add the following information on his new workshop at the Musical Instruments Museum in Brussels. It should be added to his Biography:
"As of 29th May 2015, the Musical Instruments Museum boasts an extraordinary curiosity: the 7th floor of “Old England”, the Art Nouveau building located on Montagne de la Cour in Brussels, has now turned into a professional violin making workspace. Here, the violin maker is creating an entire string quartet for all eyes to see. This creation of two violins, one viola and a cello was assigned to him by the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo. It will take up two years to complete the project. The quartet is to be ready in 2017, when the Queen Elisabeth Competition of that year will be the first of its kind for cellos. The Music Chapel intends to place the instruments at the disposal of its gifted students from around the world."
I have written the text myself and it can be verified by the following link to the museum:

Thank you in advance,

- Hello, Mr. Uytterschout. I have reviewed your proposed edit and unfortunately I must decline it at this time. First, the tone of the submission is too promotional: phrasings like "extraordinary curiosity" do not adhere to our neutral point of view policy, and "all eyes to see" is also unnecessary. Second, why are these instruments special? Doubtless, string instrument makers create hundreds of instruments a year; what about this particular quartet makes it stand out? If it is because they are to be used in the Queen Elisabeth Competition, that distinction should be clearly noted—and I'm curious why the preparation will take two years. And lastly, I would prefer that the text be verified by an outside source. Thanks, Altamel (talk) 03:33, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
