Crochets

[edit]

Just a little note. I've translated crochets in "J’aimais bien son style de jeu et ses crochets." as "dribbling". But in French, the name is more specific and seems to relate to a set of related tricks. It is described here. It seems to be a more general term than what is called a "Beardsley shuffle" and it is not an Elastico. "Shuffle" doesn't have a wiki page, and is not a common term online, despite the move being somewhat common in play. If anyone finds a better term, feel free to change, but "hook" is clearly just a naive translation from French and not a football term. Dhalamh (talk) 09:41, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
