Bit of a slant here
The article seems to give credence to the claim that this is an authentic work. However, the first reference provided points in the opposite direction. I think it would be closer to NPOV to at least raise the doubts that Cecil Adams does. --50.64.40.229 (talk) 19:19, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
Not quite accurate.
I recall that after The Teachings of Don Juan's authenticity was challenged, Castaneda, who submitted this work as a PhD dissertation, not a master's thesis, was dismissed from the program and awarded a terminal (meaning end of the road) master's degree by UCLA.
