Power Saving claims

[edit]

"According to Universal Studios, the ride is able to save over 55,000 watts of power per hour and 662,000 per day."

I don't know what this means. Watt is energy used (in J) per second. You can save a certain amount of ENERGY per period, but not POWER. Energy can be measured either in Joules, kilo-watt hour or mega-watt hour, but certainly not watts. I suggest removing the sentence or revise using accurate information and units. 192.54.144.229 (talk) 16:47, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good point ... removed the "of power" and let the wikilink for watts handle the rest. --McDoobAU93 (talk) 17:01, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The cited source is obviously wrong. I can't really tell what it's trying to say but the current wording at least makes sense, although who knows if it's correct. GA-RT-22 (talk) 00:46, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Simpsons Ride Closure

[edit]

Someone has added that the Simpsons Ride is going to be permanently closed on October 21st, 2024. I cannot find any sources for this. We should remove this, or, if there are reliable sources saying this that I'm just not seeing, proper citations should be added Sutapurachina (talk) 09:24, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
