The Other Girl → The Other Girl (film) – I just found out that The Other Girl (song) is a single by Kelsea Ballerini, not just a promotional single; this is suggested by User:CloversMallRat. Georgia guy (talk) 00:10, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah, "The Other Girl" was sent out to country radio stations today and goes for adds on April 20th as her new single. CloversMallRat (talk) 00:12, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Currently the song is just a redirect. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 08:21, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose - WP:CRYSTALBALL on the song being independently notable. At best, right now, we can handle with a simple hatnote. -- Netoholic @ 10:58, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Weak Support - if we move put (film) after the title the reader will be able to clarify that this is talking about the film and not the song. However, just putting a hatnote would be an ok decision. Iamreallygoodatcheckers (talk) 03:49, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:CRYSTALBALL and Netoholic's comments. Let's wait to have this discussion until we can see the full impact of Kelsea's song. Right now, the song does not even have a separate article. A hatnote with the redirect to the album would cover this and help anyone looking for information about the song. Right now, I think this is far too soon. Aoba47 (talk) 01:53, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: not moved. This RM can be reconsidered once The Other Girl (song) becomes an article. (closed by non-admin page mover) GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 18:40, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
The Other Girl → The Other Girl (film) – Now we've reached the date of the song's performance as a single, NOT a promotional single Georgia guy (talk) 16:26, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- Important comment. Netoholic, please include this time as part of your reasoning whether you think the song is eligible for an article yet. Georgia guy (talk) 16:44, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose until there's an article, otherwise the hatnote is fine. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:46, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- Comment. Please read my above comment; it applies to everyone although I mentioned Netoholic because it was their fault that the article's proposed move a month ago was defeated. Georgia guy (talk) 16:49, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
- oppose as too soon. No one said in the very recent RM that we should reconsider this on the exact date of release. That's silly. Give it a year. I'd recommend withdrawing this, or an outside person closing as we just closed the same request a short time ago. -- Netoholic @ 02:22, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Confusion section
[edit]Shouldn't the "Confusion" section in the article be converted into a hatnote? FloridaArmy (talk) 20:49, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
