A question
[edit]In the series, Snowfleet had a little gray animal friend, which was a type of a squirrel. does anyone remember what was his name, and what kind of animal it was exactly? Acidburn24m (talk) 16:19, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
The flying squirrel's name was "Snuffly," not "SnowFleet" as is commonly mistaken; and his little blue (not grey) friend was named..... Blue! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2606:6000:6749:5F00:9D7A:FAC6:116A:C173 (talk) 02:25, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
A Question of Masculinity
[edit]is Browniebit a boy or a girl?
from what i remember and from what i saw here and several other places, it seems that the answer is "boy",
but there is one episode that doesn't match this..
in "let's go to the sea part2", the gang goes to the beach to play.
the first thing they do there is get butt-naked (in the first cartoon nude scene on tv!).
now, all the boys get completely naked, whereas Lillabit stays in panties,
and only Browniebit wears a full one piece bathing suit..
does this strike anyone else as odd?
he also acts out in quite a "girly fashion", which doesn't follow the "early 80s code of conduct for men",
sort of speech...
i suppose he could be simply shy, but that's not mentioned or explained in any way...
so, is he really a boy? and if so, then why does he wear a full one piece bathing suit?
any thoughts?
- It's possible that the gender was reversed during English localization. See the TVTropes trope ShesAManInJapan. Dcoetzee 19:21, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- He is definitely male. The "one piece" bathing suit that he was wearing was more like a frontal-body bib that a small child might wear. (Think like the big baby in Spirited Away). It might be a good idea to watch the uncensored Sea episode. In the episode before that, Willibit wouldn't let Lillibit join their adventure on the grounds that she was a girl, and if Browniebit were a girl too (and an even younger one at that) he probably wouldn't have let "her" come either.173.17.137.41 (talk) 09:48, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
Cave on the mountainside
[edit]Anyone else remember the cave on the mountainside dug by one of the fathers of the main characters? There's a sort of "dooms day" (they are fairly vauge about it..maybe a meteor show that destroys the forest?) and the villagers must hide in the cave. What episode was that? --98.232.236.134 (talk) 02:13, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
